
1. Dont skip meals! Eat at least 3 times a day. Even if youre not hungry at that moment, eat a little snack.
2. Work out at least 3 times a week minimum for 2 hours.
3. Weigh yourself only once a week (eg on sunday), because your weight can change +/- 3 kg every day!
4. Do 300 Sit Ups every day. 100 before going to school, 100 after school, and 100 before going to sleep. Because a toned tummy always looks better.
5. Drink much tea! I love White Tea and i read that its even better than green tea (although green tea boosts your metabolism,too). Since two weeks i´m drinking a cup every day, and my skin looks so much better.
6. Eat slowly and try not to eat while watching TV or sitting at the computer.
7. Drink plenty of water! You should drink 1 litre of water per 20 kg body weight. (45 lbs)
8. Dont eat after 8 p.m. and try not to eat much fast food or candy.
9. Get enough sleep! Try to sleep between 6-8 hours every night.
10. Think positive! You are beautiful, dont matter how much you weigh. Some little numbers on the scale cant bring you down! Be happy and enjoy every day. :)
More tips:
FOOD.
- Drink a lot of water throughout the day because sometimes your body mistakens hunger for thirst.
- Eat small little meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism high.
- Make sure you eat a lot of protein in your diet to repair and maintain muscle
- Carbohydrates have a common misconception about gaining weight, as long as you have them in moderation they are really good for you as they keep energy levels up.
- Low sugar cereals, organic natural yogurt and fruit puree are all good ways of lowering sugar intake.
- Fresh fruit are a great source of natural and healthy sugars.
- Aim to have a least 5 fruit and veg a day.
- Don’t drink anything other than water because it’s just empty calories - If you drink alcohol often then limit it to once a week.
BINGING
- Treat yourself to something you’ve been craving once a week so it’s guilt free - This way you are less likely to binge on it later.
- If you feel like your about to binge then try to do something which will take your mind of it. Going for a walk, talking to a friend on the phone or catching up on homework are great ways of distracting yourself.
- Have a bowl of fresh fruit in the fridge at all times so when you’re tempted to binge, you’ll see the fruit and go to that instead.
- Fill up on high-protein food throughout the day so you don’t feel the need to binge.
- Never say ‘no’ to anything otherwise it’ll just mean you’re more likely to binge later on, having everything in moderation is better.
- If you do binge, do not punish yourself because we’re only human and we all make mistakes. The best thing you can do is pick yourself back up the next day adn get striaght back on track. Use it as your motivation to do better.
- If you binge regularly, try to find out why you binge (lack of nutrients, bordem, depression, emotional etc) and then you can try to stop the occurences.
WORKOUTS
- Before working out eat something light, like a banana, so you’re full of energy but theres no need to worry about getting a stitch.
- Specific workouts with depend on what you’re aiming for - Jogging and biking with increase the size of your thighs due to muscle, swimming and dance will tone your whole body and boxing will strengthen your arms.
- Find a workout you enjoy, if you find it boring or don’t enjoy it then you won’t want to go and will often make excuses.
- Joining a gym or a local club can give you the extra motivation to go on a weekly basis because you’ll want to get the most out of your money.
- Going with a friend is great for competition and motivation as you’ll always keep your game up and work 100%.
- Aim for 3-5 hours of cardio each week to burn fat and calories.
- Simple exercises such as walking to school/work or taking the stairs instead of the lift is a great way to keep your body active. The little things all amount to make a difference.
MOTIVATION
- Keep a diary of all your thoughts and feelings so you can look back on it and stay motivated on your goal.
- Make a scrap book or collect photographs of models with your ideal body so whenever you feel low or discouraged you can build confidence by knowing you’ll look like them one day.
- Write down 10 things you’d like to change about yourself and then write down 10 things which would be better about you if you lost weight. This should give you the motivation to keep going and be the person you want to be.
- Speak to other people on Tumblr, everyone is so polite and kind that you’ll easily make friends and find great tips.
